The Health Evidence Review Commission (HERC) is seeking a Operations and Policy Analyst 4<https://oregon.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/SOR_External_Career_Site/job/Portland--Oak-Street---OHA/Health-Evidence-Review-Commission-Policy-Analyst-Operations---Policy-Analyst-4-_REQ-27171> to provide policy analysis, project management, coordination, and quality assurance of work related to HERC.

What you will do!
In this role, the majority of the work will be through project management and related policy analysis of the HERC evidence-based reports and Prioritized List of Health Services.  These duties include coordinating, analyzing and evaluating work completed by physicians and researchers to ensure quality, relevance and alignment with HERC goals and the agency's initiatives.

Analysis will include health claims and epidemiological data to perform topic identification, selection and to inform coverage policy proposals.  Other pertinent subject matter comprises comparative effectiveness research of clinical services, coverage guidance, benefit structure, prior authorization policies, payment methodologies, and other health system transformation efforts.  Issues and recommendations have the potential of being controversial to the affected constituents, state agencies and the governor's office.
