Are you passionate about addressing climate change?

The Oregon DOT Climate Office<https://www.oregon.gov/odot/Programs/Pages/Climate-Office.aspx> was established in April 2020 and is charged with integrating climate considerations into all aspects of ODOT, including efforts to implement the bold state executive order EO20-04. As a technical analyst on our team, you will provide methods, tools, and information to prioritize statewide climate policy actions, legislative decisions, rules and regulations.

*         Staff position, full time, exempt

*         Salary: $5,203 - $7,996/month

About the Research Analysis/Data Scientist role:
50% Technical Analysis, 20% Performance Mgmt, 25% Project Mgmt, 5% other

Required: 3-5 years in data/analysis, including coordinating complex research efforts.

Qualities we'd like to see:

*         Experience translating technical and non-technical information to audiences.

*         Experience conducting independent research and analysis on complex topics.

*         Experience developing, reporting, and visualizing performance measures.

*         Experience working in transportation, land use or climate change.
