Oregon State Fire Marshal (OSFM) is hiring a new permanent Community Risk Reduction Research Analyst (Research Analyst 3) as part of its Analytics and Intelligence Unit! This position is located at the Salem Headquarters office with the option to work remotely 2-3 days per week.

REQ-120890 Community Risk Reduction Research Analyst (Research Analyst 3) is open and closes at 11:59 p.m. on 3/19/2023.

The Analytics and Intelligence Unit aims to promote exceptional and equitable service by embracing opportunity for growth and providing innovation, resources, and support to staff and the fire service. The unit collaborates with OSFM leadership and staff to design, conduct, and implement research and data-informed change throughout the agency.

As the Community Risk Reduction Research Analyst, you will use your experience with statistics, relational databases, program management, and data analytics to communicate recommendations related to fire and emergency services in Oregon.
