The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has a fantastic opportunity for a Health-Related Social Needs & Health IT Analytics Manager to join an excellent team. This is a full-time, permanent, management position with the Health Policy and Analytics Division.

This management position in the Office of Health Information Technology & Analytics Infrastructure (OHITAI) is responsible for managing a new team delivering data and analytics support related to Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) and health IT activities in Oregon. HRSN includes social and economic needs affecting individuals' health and well-being, while health IT involves the use of technology to connect people with needed services and share health information. New HRSN services and health IT efforts are a critical part of Oregon's historic 1115 Medicaid Waiver (2022-2027) and OHA's efforts to advance health equity. This team will be responsible to develop, implement, and operate new HRSN and health IT data collection, analysis, community processes, and reporting programs. This team develops and publicly reports HRSN and health IT-related data to community groups, policy makers, program leadership, health care and social service partners, and the federal government.

The role involves managing a team, directing resources, supporting Medicaid initiatives and special analytics projects, and advancing health equity through data analytics and reporting. Collaboration with various divisions and external partners is key, and the position requires strong project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The HRSN/HIT Analytics Manager also plays a vital role in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
