[Sora] Research Analyst 4 -- Department of Revenue (Research Section)

Hello SORA,

The Oregon Department of Revenue is recruiting a Research Analyst 4 to join our Research Section. Job duties may include:


  *   Planning and leading both one-time and recurring research studies relating to factors that influence revenue flows to the Department's tax programs, with particular emphasis on taxpayer behavior and the influence of the Department's enforcement and administrative activities.


  *   Collaborating with senior management to determine research topics of most value to the Department. Applying knowledge of current national and international tax compliance research with current interests of Oregon Department of Revenue and policymakers to inform decisions regarding projects to undertake.


  *   Developing research design, including necessary data collection and appropriate methods and tools of analysis. Identifying necessary resources and expertise, including other Research Section staff, tax program management and staff, and external personnel, to successfully accomplish research objectives.


  *   Coordinating project management activities of other team members including assigning, monitoring, and reviewing their work.
