Depositing at U.S. Bank Branches
State employees depositing cash at U.S. Bank branches may be told of or receive information about upcoming changes that U.S. Bank is implementing in mid-August regarding such transactions. Those changes include gathering personal information and photo identification from customers making cash deposits. Please note that state employees performing such transactions on behalf of state agencies and involving State of Oregon accounts are exempt from these impending requirements.

U.S. Bank is working to ensure that branch personnel are aware of the State's exemption and is working with Treasury to implement a process to resolve any issues that state employees encounter after the new requirements take effect. In the meantime, state employees should contact Treasury Management Services at tms at ost.state.or.us<mailto:tms at ost.state.or.us> if they have any questions or experience issues related to this matter.
