[Accounts-receivable-news] Year-End Processes

Good morning.



Here are a few year-end processes and due dates to be mindful of:



1.     Agencies subject to the Oregon Accounting Manual (OAM) should confirm that any accounts receivables written off during the current fiscal year have also been recorded in R*STARS (and that the record in R*STARS includes the write-off code in the MPCD field), in accordance with OAM 35.50.10<https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Documents/35.50.10.pdf>.  We suggest that this be done no later than August 7.

2.      The due date for agencies to submit to SWARM the following completed & accurate reports and certifications is October 1,2020:

·       ARPM reports for the quarter ending June 30 (if applicable)

·       ARPM reports for the fiscal year ending June 30 (if applicable)

·       Write-off, abated, and canceled account certification form (if applicable)



3.      Due to the pandemic, this year’s LFO Training will be online and information about this will be forthcoming.
