Subject: Updated 2021 Compliance Supplement

To: State Auditors, State Comptrollers, NASACT CARA, NSAA Single Audit Committee, NASC CFRA, and UG Implementation Workgroup

The 2021 Compliance Supplement has been updated and can be accessed at https://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/office-federal-financial-management/

This update includes information omitted from the August 12 upload and corrects the guidance for certain programs.

The following is a summary of the changes:


  *   Language included in the guidance for the "higher risk" programs identified in Appendix IV that pertained to Medicaid has been corrected.
  *   A missing page from Appendix IV is now included.
  *   Outdated information for 93.461 - Testing for the Uninsured and the Student Financial Assistance Cluster has been corrected.


Details for these changes, provided by OMB, are included in the attached document.
