The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has a full-time opportunity available for an Accounting Manager (Principal Executive/Manager E) located at DEQ Headquarters in Portland, Oregon.  The new application deadline is Monday, July 5, 2021 at 11:59 PM.
You will manage all aspects of accounting for revenues, payments, and expenditures, as well as apply advanced accounting theories to ensure that all accounting transactions are made and recorded in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), and related federal grant financial requirements. You will supervise technical and clerical accounting staff, and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial information. In addition, you will coordinate with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Statewide Accounting and Reporting Services (SARS), and Statewide Financial Management Services (SFMS), and you will assist in the preparation of Department financial statements and other requested financial reports.
