Good afternoon Travel Policy Contacts,

With the upcoming change to the CHRO Working Remotely Policy, the Statewide Travel Policy (https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Documents/40.10.00.pdf) also needs to be updated. Earlier in the year, we proposed certain updates to the Statewide Travel Policy. As we've received additional questions from agencies, additional updates to, and comprehensive examples within, the draft Statewide Travel Policy are being proposed. Attached are two versions, one with track changes and one without. The yellow highlights in the attached represent those additional changes made to the draft version that's on our website (clean version: https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Documents/40.10.00%20Travel%20Policy%20-%20Draft%20Revision%2004.14.2023.pdf and track changes version: https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Documents/40.10.00%20Travel%20Policy%20-%20Draft%20Revision%2004.14.2023%20-%20With%20track%20changes.pdf which is compared to the Statewide Travel Policy that is effective today).

This policy is scheduled to be effective September 1, if you could let me know any feedback as soon as possible, I'd appreciate it.
