Hello ACFR Contacts!


To support agency accounting staff in understanding and resolving Statewide Balancing (SWB) Report activity, SARS (Statewide Accounting & Reporting Services) and SFMS (Statewide Financial Management Services) are offering a joint training that provides a clear, comprehensive overview of the SWB report and how it is used.



This session is designed to address common misunderstandings and help participants feel more confident in interpreting SWB data and resolving exceptions in R*STARS.



Attendees will learn:
• Who, what, where, when, and why behind Statewide Balancing (SWB) reporting
• What the SWB reports looks like and what they represent
• How entries are made in the financial system
• How to research and correct issues
• How to evaluate results and understand common exceptions
• Tools available to agencies and related responsibilities

In‑Person Attendance
Location: DAS Executive Building
The conference room will open at 9:00 a.m. for early arrival and networking. If you need parking information, directions, or accessibility support, please plan ahead or reach out with questions.



Virtual Attendance
A Microsoft Teams link will be provided upon enrollment. The meeting will open 15 minutes early so participants can test their connection and settings.
