[Answerland-summit] Need feedback on social event food & drinks

I agree that beer and wine is reasonable (I assume there is also a regular bar open in the hotel if someone really wants whiskey?)

It’s the time of day where all the food looks delicious. Were we still thinking of giving folks one free drink ticket?

I was just wondering if we could get people to rsvp before deciding on what food to get (based on budget)?

I feel like beer and wine would be totally adequate.

As far as the food, it all looks good. The hot Hors D'oeuvres seem most fitting for an evening soiree. But there are a lot of nice choices on the whole menu.

In the past we had about 15-25 folks come to these so that's probably a fair guess.

Hi all,

I received catering info for our social event the night before OrRS, and am interested to hear your opinions.

Food: see attached menu.

Drinks (no-host):

•       For a two hour service and a beer and wine bar, the set-up fee will be $75. The selections will include 2 house red wines at $7/glass, 2 house white wines at $7/glass, and a selection of 6 bottled domestic and import/craft beers at $5 and $6 respectively.

•       The set-up fee for a premium bar with beer, wine, and liquor will be $150 for a three hour service. The selections will include everything from the beer and wine bar along with house liquors (with mixers and garnishes) at $9/drink.
