[ASIST_Network] CEUs - Good News!

Dear ASIST Trainers,

I just received approval from the Oregon Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (Oregon NASW) for approved ASIST trainers (see list attached) to offer 12.75 Continuing Education credits for ASIST trainings in Oregon for through July 17, 2013. That's an increase of .75 hours from last year (don't know why, but we'll take it, right?!). Our new Conference Number is 19-12-152.

I'm also attaching the new documents and the instructions you'll need for every training in which you offer Oregon NASW credits:


1.       Conference Roster: This Roster must be copied and signed by all attendees requesting  NASW Continuing Education Credit at the start of the training.   Attendees who sign the roster will be able to receive a CE certificate upon completion of the training.  Please advise the attendees of this expectation at the beginning of the training.  Please FORWARD THE ROSTER TO DONNA NOONAN FOLLOWING THE TRAINING.


2.       Conference Evaluation Forms: This form must be copied and completed by all those attendees requesting NASW continuing education certificates.  They should be distributed and  collected following completion of the conference.  THESE FORMS MUST ALSO BE FORWARDED TO DONNA NOONAN.


3.       NASW CE Certificate: This original NASW CE certificate reflects our approval number and CE  hours for our trainings.  You will need to complete the CE certificate with sponsor of conference, copy the certificates,  and distribute to attendees.


Toss your previous certificates, rosters, and evaluation forms - these have a new number for this year. Please notice that the Oregon Public Health Division is named as the conference sponsor on all the documents - that's because the approval to offer CEs is through our agency. I know you are putting on the training. Send the rosters and participant evaluations to me - I send them to Oregon NASW in batches at their request. Send them to:
