[Busmgrs] A message from Derek Brown: Formative and/or Interim Assessment Funding

Business Managers,

      You are receiving this message as a reminder that additional funding has been allocated to your district in order to purchase or develop formative and/or interim assessment resources. As of today, approximately 75% of all districts have not requested their funding and we don't want anyone to miss this opportunity.

      Last May, district Superintendents received letters describing the purpose of the additional funding, specific district allocations, and appropriate uses of resources. The opportunity to claim these funds closes on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. For clarification, the funds must be claimed by September 30, districts will have the balance of the 2014-15 school year to spend the resources. To ensure we have adequate time to process your claims, we are asking that you access and draw down the funds by Thursday, September 25.
