Dear Business Managers,

Thank you to all of the districts that submitted applications for OSCIM Program for the May election. We had thirty districts apply for the matching grants. This demonstrates the need for facilities updates across the state and also shows the willingness of districts to ask their local voters to invest in their local schools. This is very encouraging.

The not so good news is that we do not have enough OSCIM Matching funds to provide a match to all of the districts that applied. Thus, we will need to hold a lottery to determine which districts will receive funding through the first in time portion of funding. ODE will be holding a GoTo on Tuesday January 26 at 12:00 pm. During this GoTo meeting we will be announcing those districts that received funding through the priority grants, explaining how the lottery and wait lists will work, and then determine the order of districts for the first in time funds. We will post final results as soon as we have them later.
