We are pleased to present the following  two (2)  free workshops, Friday March 7, for families and professionals addressing ADHD and strategies for successful symptom management.


Workshop #1  is designed for families and caregivers of children who experience ADHD.

Multi-Modal Symptom Management Strategies

We invite professionals who provide care for children with ADHD to join Aaron as he discusses:

*      an overview of medication management strategies with current best practices

*      complementary and alternative approaches to behavioral symptoms

*      symptom management tracking tools for professionals

*      family management style research and implications for practice

Our presenter, Aaron Tabacco, RN, BSN, is a neurodevelopmental nurse specialist, training coordinator of Nursing, and researcher with expertise in family management of childhood Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the Child Development & Rehabilitation Center at OHSU.   Aaron is driven in part by his personal experiences as a father of adolescent sons who each live with ADHD.
