Just wanted to pass on some information about this exciting parenting workshop being offered by the First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville in February. Continuing education credits will be offered for foster parents.

"Toddler 2 Teen" Parenting Workshop.
Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 1-5:45pm

The First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville presents "Toddler 2 Teen" Parenting Workshop.  They will be offering training, programs and materials to bring hope and direction for the most important (and often difficult) job any person will ever have.

The five tracks of study are; Marriage, Special Needs Parenting, Early Childhood Development, Challenging Teen Years and Launching Your Young Adult.    A full description of sessions and presenters is available on the https://sites.google.com/site/familytoolsforlife/
Presenters include experts Nick Sorani (Abundant Life Now), Mary Curtis Gramley (Family Nurturing Center), Dr. Taylor Drake (Providence Medical Group) and Sharon Rush (Rogue Valley Youth  for Christ) to name just a few.
The cost is $10 for the first registration and $5 for the second.  Foster Parents will receive continuing education credits.  Go to the web page for a full description and on-line registration.
