Hello Nursing Assistant Training Program Faculty,
There are some things you can do to help expedite CNA Exam application processing:
* Verify student information for accuracy prior to entering into Testmaster Universe (TMU). Any discrepancies between what is entered into TMU and what is submitted on the exam application causes delays.
* Email copies of the signed certificates of completion to desi.thonis at state.or.us<mailto:desi.thonis at state.or.us> as soon as the students complete the course.
* Encourage your students to use the online application found at https://osbn.oregon.gov/OBNPortal/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=0&tabid=5&utyp=3 . A tutorial is available at https://osbn.oregon.gov/Articulate/the-oregon-cna-exam-application-process/content/index.html#/?_k=5lv1b4 .
* Track the status of applications via the Application Status Wizard found at https://osbn.oregon.gov/OSBNAppStatus/Search.aspx . You need the applicant's last four digits of SSN and date of birth. Remember every call to the licensing tech to check on the status of an application, takes the licensing tech away from approving applicants for testing.
Thanks for your help in making the processing of CNA test applications more efficient. Debbie
