Hello,

Everyone is encouraged to transition to the online CNA test application found at https://osbn.oregon.gov/OBNPortal/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=0&tabid=5&utyp=3. The tutorial available at https://osbn.oregon.gov/Articulate/the-oregon-cna-exam-application-process/content/index.html#/?_k=73psjc now includes information on how to complete the CNA online application.

Training program faculty are asked to email the copies of the training program certificates of completion for every cohort to desi.thonis at state.or.us<mailto:desi.thonis at state.or.us>. Board licensing staff will match up the training program certificates of completion with the online applications. I am happy to report that applicants who are utilizing the online application for the CNA or CMA exam are experiencing less time between application submission and receiving approval to test.

There will be a date in the future when only online applications will be accepted so now is the time to start using the online application process. Thank you to the training program faculty who are already directing their students to the online application.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Debbie
