[collaborative-vr] records retention question

Hi Everybody,

I was wondering about retention and common practices when it comes to chat transcripts and reference emails in a system like Springshare's LibAnswers/LibChat - but also interested in your responses even if you don't use that particular software.

How long do you retain your transcripts?

At any point do you retain records but scrub names/emails addresses from them?

In your collaborative system is there one retention schedule for the entire system or do member libraries get to craft their own?

What would your recommendation be for retention if you could choose any period of time?
