Hello District 5 Child Welfare and Self-Sufficiency Staff and Community Partners,

Here are some Mental and Physical Health resources from our community that we want to share with you all!


[cid:image005.jpg at 01DA3269.99253BC0]Thanks to a grant from the Lane County System of Care, The Arc Lane County will host monthly respite events in the New Year to give parents an opportunity to take a break.
Parents DO NOT have to be associated with The Arc lane County to take advantage of these respite programs; but they must have a child (5-13 years) who experiences a disability, mental health or behavioral health challenge. Siblings are welcome to attend as well. The Arc will host its Parents' Night Out<https://arclane.org/event/free-parents-night-out/> on Friday, Jan. 12 and a Kids' Saturday Social<https://arclane.org/event/free-kids-saturday-social/> Saturday, January 27.

[cid:image003.png at 01DA3266.F69CB8D0] The Healthy Homes Grant Program (HHGP) is excited to share that the first Request for Grant Application (RFGA) - Round 1 Funding - will be announced soon.  See attached document for more information.
The program anticipates that the RFGA will be launched in January with an anticipated deadline in March.  Keep an eye out for more detailed information (including specific dates) next month on the HHGP website<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/ph/healthyenvironments/healthyneighborhoods/healthyhomesgrantprogram/pages/index.aspx>.
