Tuesday Tidbits are short, specific info bites you can use and share to increase collective knowledge of Lane County's wide-ranging community resource landscape.
Below you will find local Mental and Physical Health resources being offered in our local community.

[cid:image006.jpg at 01DA696D.830C63F0]United Way of Lane County is hosting a Behavioral Health Summit on April 29th, 2024, 8am-4pm, at the Graduate Hotel in Eugene and is intended for educators, non-profits, and healthcare providers across Oregon who serve children & youth from birth through college.
Lane County Nonprofit Discount: United Way is pleased to offer a subsidized registration rate of $100 (down from $199) for Lane County nonprofits attending our Child/Youth Behavioral Health Summit. Please see the attached flyer to learn more.
Discount Eligibility:

  *   Must be nonprofit based in Lane County
  *   Limit one per organization - organizations should coordinate internally if multiple people plan to attend
  *   100 discounted spots available
  *   Does not include school districts or public sector organizations

[cid:image009.jpg at 01DA696D.830C63F0]NAMI Multnomah is hosting a Military Sexual Trauma Support Group for those who have served in the military, Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve members who have experienced Military Sexual Trauma (MST).
The group is facilitated by Veterans and former service members with shared experience, not by clinicians. Participants are welcome regardless of gender, discharge status, or Veteran status. Please see the attached flyer.
Schedule: Every first and third Monday of the month

[cid:image013.png at 01DA696C.9C489D80]TransPonder offers a variety of services<https://transponder.community/programs/> for our LGBTQIA2S+ population including support groups. The Queer, Trans, and Disability Group meets on Thursdays at 6-7pm online.
The group is open to all LGBTQIA people, including trans, nonbinary, questioning, and gender-diverse folks, ages 13+. This is a space where queer and trans people with disabilities can chat about their experiences, discuss chosen topics, and share resources and validation.
