We are inviting current and former SNAP recipients, individuals with experience in food insecurity, the restaurant or grocery industries, and those who understand the challenges people in these groups face with access to hot meals.

This program, launching in select areas of Oregon, is designed to serve three key groups who get SNAP:

  *   People aged 60 and over
  *   People with disabilities
  *   People experiencing homelessness

By joining the task force, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding how this program will be rolled out, making an impact on people who need it most. Your voice and experience will help bring this groundbreaking program to life.

Once the pilot launches in 2026, Oregon will be one of only 10 states offering this option through SNAP.

This website is intended to help those in our community seeking shelter either for themselves, or for someone else, know what shelters have beds available on a given night and what criteria there are for accessing those shelters.

Those accessing the site can filter through the shelters based on unique needs and be pointed in the direction of those shelters that best meet those needs. Additionally, by clicking on the bed icons located on the embedded map, site visitors can see information about the shelters including pictures, intake information, what they can expect when accessing and other important details.
