January 4th to March 31st
This 12-week Advocacy & Policy Academy is designed to empower parents with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to effectively advocate for their children within Oregon's child and youth-serving systems. Participants will explore topics including advocacy strategies, understanding the legislative process, policy development, and building partnerships with stakeholders. The course will include a blend of presentations, readings, discussions, assignments, and live virtual sessions to enhance learning and engagement.
