  * Free CHW Training for Rural Hospitals, Clinics and Public Health - ORH received a third year of funding for the CHW training grant and will fund the training of 25 more CHWs free of charge to your organization through Northeast Oregon Network (NEON), an Oregon-accredited online CHW program. This program will train someone identified by your facility to become a CHW to be employed by your rural hospital, clinic, or public health department or shared between organizations. This opportunity is limited to rural Oregon hospitals, clinics and rural public health departments. No experience is required except a high school diploma. ORH will fund and organize their 11-week training through NEON. [cid:image013.png at 01DB34FA.3B065260]The Eugene Hearing Voices and Different Realities Discussion and Support group is now meeting indoors at the Trauma Healing Project, twice a month.
This group is free and open to those who experience voices, visions, and really different takes on reality. It can be a great referral for anyone who is trying to figure out how to handle such experiences, or for anyone who feels isolated because others don't relate to their experience. The group does not push any particular beliefs or approaches, rather, it attempts to create a space where people can ask questions and can share whatever makes sense or works for them.
Currently, the group is meeting IN PERSON at The Trauma Healing Project, 631 E 19th Ave Bldg. B, Eugene at the following times:

  * The first Thursday of the month, 1-2:30 PM
  * The third Thursday of the month, 1-2:30 PM
No fee, no registration, just drop in!
More information is on the website for this group<https://www.differentminds.us/eshv/>.
