Hello District 5 Self-Sufficiency/Child Welfare Staff and Community Partners,

Tuesday Tidbits are short, specific info bites you can use and share to increase collective knowledge of Lane County's wide-ranging community resource landscape. Below you will find Mental and Physical Health resources being offered in and for our local community.

to offer a Flu Vaccine Clinic at their Cottage Grove Mobile Pantry.

When: Wednesday, October 9 & 23, 3:30-5:30pm

Where: N. 7th and E. Whiteaker in Cottage Grove

It’s quick, easy, and an important step toward keeping our community safe and healthy.
Flu vaccines are available for everyone 6 months and older, regardless of immigration status
or health insurance, while supplies last.

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents 12-18.
When: October 25, 2024 at 9am-4pm

HIV Alliance will be providing free rapid testing for HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C; get your results in 20 minutes or less. Additionally, Student Health and Wellness Clinic will be offering free or low cost Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing for eligible students.

  *   October 10th from 11-3PM at the Student Health and Wellness Center
  *   October 16th from 11-2PM at the Gender Equity Center
