Hello District 5 Self-Sufficiency/Child Welfare Staff and Community Partners,

Tuesday Tidbits are short, specific info bites you can use and share to increase collective knowledge of Lane County's wide-ranging community resource landscape.  Below you will find Mental and Physical Health resources being offered in and for our local community.


[cid:image004.jpg at 01DB1EDF.20283D90]The Unitarian Universalist Church is offering a new Body Compassion Class: Exploring Fat Acceptance, Disability Justice, and Unpacking Our Body Baggage.

When: Tuesdays, October 15, 22 & November 12, 19, 26

Meet for 5 sessions over Zoom (in-person can participate with a portal in room 1) to explore the cultural roots of body shame, fat phobia, and ableism in order to engage in the liberatory act of loving and accepting our whole selves: spirit, mind, and body.

MCS-LC is available 7 days a week, from 2 PM to 11 PM Services can be activated by calling or texting 988 or contacting the Lane County Crisis Line at 541-682-1001.
