Check out Parents Under Pressure: The U.S. Surgeon General’s Advisory on the Mental Health & Well-Being of Parents<https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/parents-under-pressure.pdf>.

41% of parents say that most days they are so stressed they cannot function and 48% say that most days their stress is completely overwhelming compared to other adults (20% and 26%, respectively).

This document suggests actions we can take as communities, friends, caregivers, schools tribal governments and more.

BIPOC Blueprint is a space for youth to connect with peers.

Through genuine conversations, we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging and cultural pride, equipping youth with the skills, knowledge, and resilience to navigate life’s challenges.

WHEN: September 19th, 6 – 8pm. Third Thursday of every month, September through June.
WHERE: Most Cafes will be online, with at least two opportunities to gather in person, one anticipated in December and one anticipated in June.

Parent Cafes are welcoming spaces where we can chat about a topic the group chooses. It's a great way to connect with other parents while engaging in meaningful conversations that can positively influence how you view and interact with the world. Join us for a warm and enriching experience!
