Legal Observers are the eyes and ears of the legal team. They create documentation during events which can later be used in defense cases, public statements and litigation which aims to hold law enforcement agencies accountable for the actions of their officers.

Official Programs provide their Legal Observers with neon-green hats, which have become a symbol of legal support for progressive movements in the United States and beyond.

Native Youth Wellness Program will offer free books and coloring sheets for families while supplies last!

Due to the Oregon State Legislature slashing eviction prevention and rent assistance funding, SETA is now facing over a 70% reduction in our total operating budget.

Starting August 1st, SETA must:

-Close SETA’s free Education Program. We will still be able to offer a limited number of workshops, however the RentWell program will be immediately discontinued.

-Reduce or terminate all positions, including executive leadership, in order to keep our remaining services functioning at the highest capacity possible.

-Immediately reduce the functioning hours of the Free Tenant Hotline. We will only be initiating calls between the hours of Noon - 6:00 pm. Additionally, our response time will likely lengthen. Our commitment to supporting you is not changing, our Hotline is still open and available. - (541) 972-3715

-Significantly reduce our ability to research, create, and publish free materials such as our Renters Rights guides

-Greatly limit outreach and in-person support
