* South Lane Wheels origin to destination service will end on June 30th due to the expiration of discretionary funding.
* The Metro Shuttle, providing origin-to-destination service between rural South Lane County and Eugene/Springfield, will also end on June 30th due to funding loss.
* The Cottage Grove Connector, an on-demand service within Cottage Grove city limits, will significantly increase capacity by adding vehicles to help offset the loss of South Lane Wheels.
* This service operates 5 days a week for $1 per ride.
* A new Rural Lane County Shuttle pilot program<https://www.ltd.org/rural-shuttle-pilot/> will launch, operating two days a week in rural South Lane County, one day in Marcola/Mohawk, and one day on Highway 36 between Mapleton and Deadwood. This is a 2-year discretionary funded pilot connecting these areas to Cottage Grove for goods, services, and connection to Route 98.
* LTD is seeking input on the best two days of the week to operate the pilot service in South Lane County, considering existing programs and services.
* Individuals on the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) are eligible for transportation to covered medical appointments anywhere in Lane County through LTD, including rides, mileage reimbursement, and bus passes. Information on covered services is available on the websites of the specific Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs).
* The fare for the rural shuttle pilot into Cottage Grove will be $2.50 per trip, which includes an LTD day pass.

Those accessing the site can filter through the shelters based on unique needs and be pointed in the direction of those shelters that best meet those needs. Additionally, by clicking on the bed icons located on the embedded map, site visitors can see information about the shelters including pictures, intake information, what they can expect when accessing and other important details.
