Executive Director Location: Eugene, OR (Hybrid eligible, minimum 3 days/week in office)
Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 annually (DOE)
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt (40 hrs/week)
Start Date: Open until filled; ideally by November 15, 2025
Application Deadline: ongoing with first review happening around September 19, 2025

Daisy CHAIN is at a powerful moment of transformation. As our founding Executive Director prepares to transition out of their role, we are seeking a compassionate, community-rooted, and visionary leader to guide the organization into its next chapter.

DC's mission is to provide the community with research and evidence-based support services and education for individuals and families who are pregnant and parenting. We aim to shift the cultural paradigm of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting care by addressing both individual and systemic barriers. We do this through high-quality, evidence-based, culturally competent care and community-driven action, offering all services free of charge to our clients.

We believe everyone deserves access to pregnancy, lactation, parenting support, and doula care from qualified professionals and peers in their own community.

As Executive Director (ED), you will lead a deeply values-driven nonprofit of 30+ staff and a multi-million dollar budget. You will play a vital role in grounding the organization’s foundation while supporting continued growth and success. In partnership with the Board of Directors, you’ll help sustain Daisy CHAIN’s impact, financial stability, and alignment with its mission.

We value candidates who share lived experiences with the communities we serve — including but not limited to:

  * Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC)
  *   LGBTQIA+ individuals
  *   People living with disabilities
  * People with experience navigating pregnancy, parenting, substance use, recovery, houselessness, or poverty
  * Those who speak languages other than English
  * People from rural areas or those who’ve experienced systemic barriers to care or employment

To Apply

Please submit the following to jodi at daisychainlane.org<mailto:jodi at daisychainlane.org> by September 19, 2025:

Please put “Executive Director” and your last name in the subject line.

  1.  Resume and Cover
     * Please be sure to demonstrate in your cover letter how you plan to meet the requirements of this role.
  2. Answers to the following questions:
     * What languages do you speak, read, or write fluently?
     * What experience do you have advocating for or moving within systemically excluded communities? Please give specific examples.
     * What experience with pregnancy, termination, birth, lactation, infertility, parenting, or peer support relevant to this position (if any) will you bring to this work? Share as you feel comfortable.
     * What do you see as the primary need of birthing/pregnant people who use substances and/or live outside?
     * We value lived experience on our team. Do you have experience, personal or work, in substance use, recovery, or mental health? Please share as you feel comfortable.

We understand that not all candidates will be able to fully represent their abilities with a

standard application. Any candidate who wishes to submit alternative materials may
