It is almost time for Summer Food here at Food for Lane County! The Summer Food Service Program<https://www.foodforlanecounty.org/food/summer-food-program/> (SFSP) is a USDA Federal program that sets standards and provides reimbursement for healthy meals and snacks served to eligible children. The SFSP plays an integral role in giving eligible children and teens access to meals when school is not in session.

H.O.N.E.Y. Inc. is excited to offer a Multicultural Enrichment Academy over summer break for elementary (1st–5th), middle, and high school youth and teens.
This program is designed to center youth who identify as multiracial and ethnically diverse, while all are welcome and encouraged to attend. It is a meaningful opportunity for multiracial, African American/Black, Native, Latine, and Immigrant/Refugee youth to come together, build connection, and experience being in the majority.
This opportunity is not for everyone and requires youth to sign a participation agreement. The academy is intentionally designed to be a fun, engaging, and rigorous experience where youth will:

  *   Build academic, life, and leadership skills
  *   Engage in cultural enrichment and creative activities
  *   Connect with peers in an affirming and empowering environment

UO SAIL PROGRAM – REGISTER NOW!

UO SAIL PROGRAM
This FREE, week‑long pre‑college program, held on the University of Oregon campus, gives students the opportunity to experience college life while engaging in hands‑on, interactive learning with UO’s outstanding faculty. SAIL is open to Oregon high school students from low‑income backgrounds, and our goal is to inspire students to pursue, enroll in, and succeed in higher education.
Program Options
This summer, students may choose between two program formats:
Residential Program
· July 12–17
· Open to rising juniors and seniors
· Students arrive Sunday afternoon and are picked up Friday by 4:30 p.m.
· Students live and eat on campus, staying in UO residence halls
· Evening activities may include music and dance, community‑building events, campus exploration, and career networking with local professionals
Day Program
· July 20–24
· Open to rising freshmen through rising seniors
· Runs Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
· Lunch and snacks provided daily
In both programs, students will explore a variety of academic subjects through fun, social, and engaging activities led by distinguished UO faculty.
