The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) has a vacancy for the position of Trust Accountant. This position is full-time and is located in the OYA Central Office, Business Services Division. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.  If hired, you will become part of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) collective bargaining unit.

The primary purpose of this position is to work with technical and professional staff to carry out the accounting and special purpose financial reporting functions for the agency.  This position is lead on agency-wide reconciliation functions and preparing federal financial reports.  It assists with preparing annual financial statements and developing accounting policies, procedures, and operating manuals.  It advises on, or participates in, the design and execution of evolving accounting systems and controls.  It maintains client trust accounts and assists with cost allocation, billing, receipting, and payable functions.  It performs complex accounting analysis as needed.
