Currently, there is a project to move the listed agencies to the Office 365 OU structure in the shared Active Directory (AD) used for email and OBIEE authentication.

What does this mean for an OBIEE end user of the listed agencies? Your current OBIEE logon account (First.Last at oregon.gov<mailto:First.Last at oregon.gov>) will switch to (First.Last_SS at oregon.gov<mailto:First.Last_SS at oregon.gov>).

Please see the transition steps below for more detail.

Current transition steps for OBIEE Users:
1)      Agency ARS admins: Schedule a transition date with the Officer 365 team to complete this process.
2)      Agency ARS admins: Once the new _SS account is created, help the OBIEE user validate the new account works in the Shared AD Password Manger web portal and give them the web portal user guide (provided by DAS DCS).
3)      Agency Security Officer (ASO): Requests the user's new _SS account be granted rights to OB1. The ASO will email System Security a list of all affected OBIEE users, requesting that the listed users obtain access to their new _SS account in OBIEE. On the same submission, ASOs shall separately list those that need OSPA OBIEE access and include those users' RACF IDs.
4)      SARS system security: Grant existing OBIEE security access to new _SS account.
5)      User: Logs on to OBIEE with new alternate _SS Account
6)      Datamart team: Move data created under old user account to new user account in the OBIEE app.
