[DV_listserv] Strangulation Bill update

[Domestic Violence issues]

Good Morning,

HB 2940 (which elevates Strangulation to a Class C felony under certain circumstances) passed without objection through the full Ways and Means Committee yesterday afternoon.

It should go the floor for a vote soon (perhaps as soon as the end of this week).
