October 1st marks the beginning of the annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM):

The Oregon Coalition Against Domestic And Sexual Violence has launched its 2012 DVAM campaign:
"Flip the Script: Reframe blame through healthy MEdia & Technology use."

Finally, I know that all of you who subscribe to the listerv care about and understand the on-going problems associated with Domestic Violence and the effects of DV on our communities and state. There are LOTS of opportunities to participate in DVAM activities. I encourage everyone to find out what your community is doing and show support through your participation.
