One of my all-time favorite books, "Half The Sky," is written by native Oregonian (New York Times journalist, and Pulitzer prize winning author), Nicholas Kristof, and his wife (also a Pulitzer prize winner), Sheryl WuDunn.

Tonight and tomorrow night, PBS will be airing a documentary based on the book.
