Oregon Sexual Assault Law Enforcement and Prosecutor Training (FREE!)

The Sexual Assault Law Enforcement and Prosecutor Training Project aims to increase Law Enforcement  and Prosecutors capacity to effectively respond to and investigate sexual crimes by providing sexual assault specific training.

Proving lack of consent is often a difficult hurdle to overcome in the prosecution and investigation of sexual assault. This one-day training, developed specifically for law enforcement and prosecutors, will equip participants with specific tools and techniques to address the consent defense in the investigation and prosecution of sexual assault cases. Participants will review relevant case law and will have an opportunity to develop strategies and build skills as they work through complex scenarios.
