New Campus Safety Legislation:



House Bill 3415:

The Oregon Legislature recently passed HB 3415<https://tixedu.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a7a71c836a0fcc190108c8e1f&id=65c7cea22b&e=f2ea74e1fe> requiring campus safety officers to meet training requirements related to Title IX annually. The training must cover types of conduct under Title IX as well as best practices in response and investigations.

2019 Campus Safety Title IX Training:




Training Description:

This one day training<https://tixedu.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a7a71c836a0fcc190108c8e1f&id=54a8c1ce11&e=f2ea74e1fe> is for campus public safety officers to provide an overview of the Title IX process and the role of campus safety within it. An overview of Title IX investigations, taking student reports, and assessing student and larger campus safety will all be covered as well as best practices in coordinated investigations and student support services. This training meets requirements under HB 3415.
