[DV_listserv] DV Homicide: Ex-boyfriend kills new boyfriend (Lane)

January 16, 2020: Lane County (Eugene)
Alejandro Ponce (23) came into his ex-girlfriend's house and shot and killed her new boyfriend Blake Schaufler (23). The ex-girlfriend reported to dispatch that he "came to put a bullet in her head and tell her he loved her."  She reports that she knocked the gun out of suspect's hand and he left the residence on foot.  A manhunt ensued over the course of the day for Ponce, he eventually turned himself into the police that evening.  Ponce is charged with murder in the second degree for Ponce, and attempted murder DV for the ex-girlfriend.
