Sorry for the post on all 3 listservs- but there's some cross over that I'm hoping someone might have an answer for.

Defense has provided prosecutor Kara Brooks in Clackamas County with short notice for an expert they intend to call in a trial TODAY to say, in short, that if there are no marks, no strangulation occurred.

She has not received a CV or anything from the defense, just the name Dr Matthew Fahey.  Apparently he testified in Coos County on shaken baby syndrome and gun shot wounds (in a DUII case to say that the prior gun shot wound prevented defendant from being able to do FSTs.)

Anyone have information on him?  CV?  Prior testimony info?  You can send responses to me and/or directly to Kara and Jill (the officer on the case)- both are copied on this email.

It sounds like they didn't send Kara a CV or actually anything.  She talked to someone down in Coos County that knew enough about Dr. Fahey to say that he also has testified as an expert on shaken baby syndrome and gun shot wounds (DUII case, testified that defendant unable to perform FSTs due to being shot years ago without examining defendant).

I left messages and sent emails for both Katie and Jennifer.
