This is a great opportunity for LEA supervisors (and their agencies) to receive excellent training from the IACP.



National Law Enforcement First-Line Supervisor Training on Violence Against Women
(International Association of Chiefs of Police)


The IACP, in collaboration with Spokane Police Department, and supported by the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women, present sworn law enforcement in the U.S. who hold primary responsibility for overseeing first responders a training opportunity to increase their understanding of the complex realities of violence against women crimes and develop mentoring, training, and leadership skills.



July 21-24, 2020

National Law Enforcement First-Line Supervisor Training on Violence Against Women

The First-Line Supervisor Training provides:

* An opportunity to assess current agency and officer efforts.

* A chance to explore tools and resources to enhance response and investigations.

* Time for peer-to-peer learning exchange with law enforcement colleagues to discuss solutions and strategies.

* Support from experts to design practical action plans specific to agency needs.



There is no registration fee for the training. Participants are responsible for related travel, lodging, food, and other expenses.
