Good morning EMGIG and PrepFIT members!

First off, thank you all for attending the meeting on Tuesday! On this message, I've got a copy of the presentations provided by both Erik Larsen from ODF and Matt Williams from DOGAMI. GIS AAR Kickoff
Yesterday, we also kicked off our annual GIS after action review process. This year's data gathering efforts will utilize the Google Jamboard functionality, which is a virtual whiteboard. Here is the link to the 2023 GIS AAR Jamboard: https://jamboard.google.com/d/1AvfITkNbjiDmdpRMPMNsEGerG3neBAEsNOCnKv1LtQ8/edit?usp=sharing.

To fill out a sticky note on this platform, click on the sticky note icon on the left of the screen and enter text and click on the save button. You can watch the recording<https://youtu.be/o4uaMoY41qI> for the visual steps on how to do this.

This year's GIS AAR includes the following questions:

  *   Enter your agency's name
  * Areas of success in use of GIS for emergency management for your agency
  * Areas for improvement in use of GIS for emergency management for your agency
  * What would you do differently next time?
  * What data do you wish you had?
  * What emergency management software does your agency use to organize/document/communicate during emergency incidents?
     * We're looking for individuals to post the software they use for situational awareness and information sharing during emergencies. This started with a list of products. If one is already listed, please add text to it to indicate you use it as well. You can update text on the sticky note by double-clicking on the entry and adding the number next to it.
  * What training would you like to have?
  * Any thoughts or questions for EMGIG?

We would appreciate your input by close of business Friday, March 15th. Once this is done, we will be taking the results and developing the after action report and improvement plan from the findings listed in this Jamboard. You can find previous AARs on our main hub site<https://emgig-geo.hub.arcgis.com/>.

Next Meeting
We will be holding another special meeting in April to provide an overview and training on the OEM evacuation service. More information will be coming shortly as we get that training scheduled. This will take place some time in April and will be an hour long. I'd encourage you all to attend, especially for those of you working at local government, tribal government, and state agency partners.
