 *   FY 2008 and FY 2009 Funding Status.  The first funding wave for FY 2009 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28th.  Wave 49 for FY 2008 will be released on April 29th.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The SLD’s online Form 486 system has been updated to support FY 2009 filings.  A second set of bankruptcy notices have been sent to creditors of Charter Communications and its subsidiaries — the bankruptcy should not affect E-rate discounts and reimbursements.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated April 24th.  The SLD’s most recent News Brief provides additional clarification on the eligibility of Web hosting.  It makes a distinction between Web sites controlled by the applicant (eligible) and those controlled by a service provider (ineligible).
