 *   FY 2008 – FY 2009 Funding Status.  Wave 7 for FY 2009 and Wave 55 for FY 2008 will both be released this week.  The pace of funding for FY 2009 is well behind last year, but slightly ahead of the previous year.  Priority 2 funding for FY 2009 should begin in mid-July.
 *   FCC Releases Draft ESL for FY 2010.  The FCC has released a draft of next year’s Eligible Services List.  There are no unexpected changes or clarifications.  Public comments and reply comments are due this month.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.   The retirement of the FCC’s Inspector General may lead to welcome changes in E-rate audit procedures.  A new trade association has been formed for professional E-rate consultants.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated June 5th.   The SLD’s most recent News Brief provides a number of reminders on CIPA compliance.
