 *   FY 2008 – FY 2009 Funding Status.  Wave 8 for FY 2009 and Wave 56 for FY 2008 will both be released this week.  Funding for FY 2009 is still for Priority 1 services only.  A final decision on 87% Priority 2 funding for FY 2008 has still not been made.
 *   Form 500 Usage.  FCC Form 500 is a multi-purpose E-rate applicant form.  It can be used to notify USAC of changes in service start dates or contract expirations dates, or to reduce or cancel awarded funding.


 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated June 12th.   The SLD’s most recent News Brief contains tips for filing a Form 486 online, several of which are also applicable for filing a Form 486 using the paper version.
