 *   FY 2008 and FY 2009 Funding Status.  As a result of the SLD IT upgrade, no regular funding waves for either FY 2008 or FY 2009 will be released this week.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The SLD’s computer system upgrade has been completed.  The first two of the SLD’s eight fall workshops will be held next week.  Three more individuals have been barred from the E-rate program.  The FCC has requested public comment on the workshops it is holding in connection with the development of a National Broadband Plan.  A recent FCC Order discusses commercial program distribution on school buses.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated September 11th.  See information covered above.
