 *   FY 2008 and FY 2009 Funding Status.  As a result of the SLD’s IT upgrade, mostly completed last week, no regular funding waves for either FY 2008 or FY 2009 will be released this week.
 *   Update on Revised Bishop Perry Procedures.  The FCC is considering modifications to USAC’s more strict interpretation of its Bishop Perry Order (discussed two weeks ago) to provide more flexibility in correcting clerical and ministerial application errors during PIA review.
 *   Broad E-Rate Consultant Investigation.   As a follow-up to the investigatory letters it sent last June to applicants who had used Trillion, USAC has also sent inquiries to applicants who had used E-Rate Consulting Services (“ERC”).
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The SLD’s computer system upgrade has been completed.  The first two of the SLD’s eight fall workshops will be held this week.  NTIA has developed a searchable database of all applications received for broadband stimulus funds,
Schools and Libraries News Brief dated September 18th.  Last week’s News Brief provides tips for addressing FY 2008 and FY 2009 funding before the opening of the FY 2010 application window.
