 *   Funding Status Update.   Funding Wave 38 for FY 2009 will be released this week. Current indications are that the Priority 2 funding threshold for FY 2009 will be in the 70-78% range.  The application window for FY 2010 will close February 11, 2010.
 *   Clarification on Unbundled Warranties.  USAC and the FCC have clarified that “duplicative” — rather than “unbundled” – warranties are ineligible.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The SLD is seeking FCC authority to discontinue the Eligible Products Database.  NCES has released an updated survey on information technology usage in public schools.  A small amount of federal funds has been allocated through the Department of Education to the National Center for Research in Advanced Information and Digital Technologies to support educational technology grants beginning later this year.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated January 29th – Application Process.  The SLD’s latest News Brief reviews the various sections of the Form 471 application.
