 *   Funding Status.  Wave 9 for FY 2010 and Wave 60 for FY 2009 will be released this week.  Wave 9 will include Priority 2 funding at the 990% level
 *   FCC NPRM on E-Rate Program Revisions – Discount Rate Calculations.  The FCC proposes to replace the current averaging method of calculating district discounts rates with a single matrix discount for the entire district.  This change would produce both winners and losers.  Several issues have yet to be addressed.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  About 300 comments were filed for the FCC's E-rate NPRM.  Reply comments are due July 26th. The deadline for comments on revisions to Form 470 and Form 471 is July 30th.  The SLD's fall training still has openings in six locations.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated July 16 – Invoicing for Recurring Services.  The SLD provided a number of reminders for both applicants and service providers needing to invoice for E-rate discounts for recurring services in FY 2009.
